Who we are – the team behind Yomoko

Three friends. Three disciplines. One vision. That’s Yomoko – and that’s us: Norman, Pat, and Falk. We’d like to take you behind the scenes of the app we’ve built with heart, passion, and gasoline in our veins.

How it all began

The idea for Yomoko came to Norman in 2017 – on his very first motorcycle trip with an old Honda CBF 600 to Dubrovnik. Traveling solo, with a tent and a thirst for adventure, but without a real ride buddy. It was great – but it would’ve been even better with one or two like-minded riders. And that’s when the spark ignited: a platform for spontaneous and planned motorcycle tours. For real connections instead of endless Facebook groups. For everyone who loves the freedom of two wheels.

Our Philosophy

Yomoko isn’t a corporate product – it’s handcrafted by the three of us: friends who work full-time by day and build what we always wished for at night – a community that truly connects bikers beyond the screen. No unnecessary fluff, no barriers – just simple and effortless.

Our principle: “More real time, less screen time.”

Real life happens out there – with wind in your face, stunning curves, breathtaking landscapes, and above all, people who share your vibe.

The Team & How We Work

Since 2021, Tuesdays have been our anchor point. We jump on a call, throw around ideas, prioritize, design, and code. What started as a side project has become a true team effort – built on trust, understanding, and a shared standard of quality that keeps us going.

Norman (38, Stuttgart) – Idea & Community

Our visionary. Works in IT consulting, has been riding motorcycles since 2016, and lives for travel, photography, kitesurfing – and great stories. He handles everything that happens outside the app: community, partnerships, and paperwork. His favorite route? The TET through Albania.

Falk (27, Berlin) – Code & Technology

The creative mind behind the tech. Holds an MBA, also works in IT consulting, and loves analog photography, music, and his 125cc roots. Falk makes sure everything in the app runs smoothly – with heart and brain.

Pat (35, Chemnitz) – Design & Experience

The experience shaper. A freelance designer with a passion for detail. His designs make Yomoko what it is: intuitive, clean, and with a touch of retro romance. Pat might prefer non-motorized trails, but he rides with just as much passion.

What Drives Us

Yomoko is here to connect people around the world who love bikes, scooters, ATVs, and shared riding experiences. People who just got their license. Who are new in town. Who want to feel connected again through shared adventures – on two wheels or at heart.
